Franklin Farmers' Market
Chineka
Macadamias has a permanent presence at the Franklin Farmers’ Market in
Pukekohe. This takes place in the Town Square, on King St., every
Saturday from 9 – 12.30. The Farmers’ Market is well worth a visit,
other stalls selling wine, organic meat, organic fruit, honey, jams,
pickles and chutneys, goats cheese, olive oil and more.

These provide an opportunity to see bearing 10 - 20 yr old nut trees as well as more recently planted trees and to find out how to get the most out of your macadamias or to assess whether this is the tree crop for you.
The afternoons focus on:
There will be an opportunity to see the Nut House, and to discuss processing of nut crops; the pitfalls and obligations.
The day is especially intended as an opportunity for people interested in planting nut groves, or have one tree in their garden, or many trees, to learn from the mistakes and observations of others, and to share ideas.
Bring: boots, coats and questions.

Bus Tours
Chineka's Franklin farm and processing plant is a popular stopping
place for group tours. Enjoy a tour of the nut grove, be inspired with
Virginia's story, enter the draw to win a macadamia gift and taste the
delicious product. Meet the friendly sheep and Matey the cheeky
Kunekune pig.
