Selling your nuts!
Chineka will put growers in touch with local purchasers of Nut in Shell (NIS).
The criteria for nut purchase is as follows:
Macadamias are paid for according to the quality and quantity of the kernel processed. Immaturity, damage or disease affecting the nut’s quality reduces the price paid on the consignment. Nuts are considered ripe when the come out of the husk cleanly and the husk lining is a rich, brown colour.
De-husking and shelling service
We have a service available to process nuts for other growers. Contract
processing is undertaken for small growers or owners of home garden
trees. Growers receive back their own kernel to market themselves.
